My Review:

Bad boy meets rich girl. Rich girl has a rich boyfriend. Bad boy doesn’t want to commit, but begins to like rich girl too much. Classic? Well, up to a point. Combine a classic story with a secret that affects both characters; add a little bit of funny moments and you get a good story.

What I liked about the story is the way each character, Charli, Loona, Luke, Luke’s brothers, Charli’s boyfriend and parents, had a role to play in the secret and its unfolding. The twist is unexpected and will leave you wanting more. Still, I would have liked to feel the danger of situations more vividly; I didn’t feel that scared for Charli. The construction of the moment, how we got to it, was quite nice, but the scene itself could be a little more worked.

Coming back to the love story between Luke and Charli, their relationship starts in a funny way. It made me laugh sometimes and I had fun with them and with their crazy acts. What annoyed me a little was how Charli acted around her boyfriend. I mean, the guy was visibly cheating on her and she still finds excuses for him. Also, Loona and Luke’s brother have a sweet chemistry that we’ll probably read about.

To sum up, I enjoyed the book very much, even though maybe one or two scenes could have been a little more intense. A thumbs up for the author and good luck with the next book in the series, which I can’t wait to read about !!
