Hello lovely readers!!!
I am back in the reading world after a long absence. I’ve been facing some demons, I still am. Life is not that easy sometimes but it’s good to have a refuge like reading. I am slowly inserting myself back into the world of books and into writing. I have a lot of e-mails I need to catch up and a lot of new releases but let’s take it one book at a time.
I would like to read at least 5 books this month. I had weeks of not reading anything, so 5 books would be an amazing improvement. With that being said, here goes my TBR:
- Wrecked (Donington Racing #2) by Kat Ransom: you’ve heard me talk a lot about her books and she has a new series out already. I’ve read book 1 already but suffice to say I have not been keeping up with reviews. I know I will love it, I am expecting a clean 5 star read!
- The Duke and I (Bridgertons #1) by Julia Quinn: I have not watched the TV series because I want to read the books. People say they are great, might as well check that for myself. I am really late with these books. I love Julia Quinn, I’ve read a lot by her, but not these ones. Why???
- Grave Robber (Twisted Brotherhood MC #1) by Skye McNeil: I was very happy when the author asked me if I wanted to read and ARC of “Grave Robber”. The expected publication date is July 27th and I cannot wait to tell you my thoughts!
- Dear Grumpy Boss (The Harder They Fall #1) by Julia Wolf: I received a copy of this book as part of a book tour. Since my last review was in JANUARY, it’s obvious I missed out on a lot of engagements. This is me, trying to catch up.
- The Least Amount of Awful by Jennifer Millikin: unfortunately, same as above.
I have a lot of physical books which I haven’t touched in years. I would like to read one of those as well, but step by step. For now, I am happy to be back and I hope I’ll stick around. For some reason, I keep coming back to my blog. This is a sign, right?
Until next time, happy reading!
(It does feel good saying that again!)
