My Review

Definitely a story that will raise the temperature more than once! “Irresistibly Dangerous” brings forward Lenox and Georgia: he is a tattoo artist by day, a hacker by night, she is something she doesn’t want to be: the rich famous girl with a broken heart.

Family and family business bring Georgia back to Lenox, the guy who broke her heart. On the verge of loosing the ownership of her father’s company unless she is married, she knows that the only guy who can help us is the one who owned her heart just to shatter it in a million pieces. Lenox was not ready for love. Hurt and hate owned him, until he allowed himself to get lost in his best friend’s cousin.

The romance was so intense and the moments these two shared were … burning the pages. But it’s not just about that. The story is about allowing a second chance as happiness, forgiving and letting go. This is the part I liked most, I did enjoy the thrill of the chase – looking for clues on why Georgia’s ex and his father were so persistent in her selecting a different husband. The pace, the action kept me reading to the wee hours of the night.

However, there were some bits I did not like – for example Georgia’s impression that showing up at a meeting or two with her new husband means that she did her duty to HER company. Now she can be a chairwoman. Her constant back and forth with Lenox and her complains made immature and, frankly, a bit annoying. In terms of the writing, some ideas and phrases were repeated. This may have been done intentionally, for they did other me in a way – granted, I received and advanced copy, so the printed version may be slightly different.

Favorite Quote: “Sometimes, the right person comes along at the wrong time. This doesn’t make them wrong for us. Maybe you didn’t do things the right way back then, but you walked away and changed your life. You didn’t blame anyone else for your mistakes. You owned them, faced them, and came back stronger because of them. You do so much for others, but what do you do for yourself?”

All in all, the story was enjoyable, it kept me connected and up too many hours 😊 As usual, I have the prior books in the series to read…
