Happy December guys! I am not sure when autumn started and ended. There have been some crazy months, with a lot of bookish decisions. I have some very exciting news, which I will share once I am confident enough in the quality of the content I am preparing, which is why my reviews have been a bit all over the place in November.
I’ve read quite a few books last month and I did a lot of Beta Reading as well, which was really exciting. Here are some highlights:
- 7 books finished: I am really proud! Considering how overwhelming November has been, I am so happy with the amount of reading I’ve been doing:
- Sincerely, The Duke (Say I Do #2) by Amelia Grey (Best book of the month, by far!)
- Control (Harper Security Ops #18) by AK Evans
- Coerced Wife (New York Underworld #2) by Charmaine Pauls
- All I Want for Christmas is a Faerie Assassin?! by H.L. Macfarlane (Second best)
- Outlaw (Devil’s Fury MC #2) by Harley Wylde
- Deceptive Calm by Patricia Skipper
- The Penalty (Lakeview Lightning #4) by Nikki Jewell
- Beta Reading: uf, it was such a productive month – I’ve had 3 projects this month, one of which was even a rush job (48 hours feedback). All 3 were amazing and I am so happy to be able to help authors and I am happy with how they have all collaborated.
- Started another bookish project – I will tell you more about it as soon as I gain a bit more confidence. My original plan was to make it official during November but as usual, I keep second-guessing myself and expecting perfection from day 1. I will let you know in December and hopefully you will be as excited as I am 🙂
- Decided on adding another reading device (because phone, tablet, PC and physical books were not enough): it’s nothing out of the ordinary, but I am excited and I’ll show you all details once it will arrive.
- I’ve diversified my reading a lot this month: I have several Fantasy books started and not yet finished, as well as a non-fiction book. Deceptive Calm is a Fiction book that speaks about some important moments in our recent history. I’m happy that I am slowly discovering amazing books in other genres and I intend to do it more often.
- I’ve traveled to UK for a week and visited Waterstones in Leamington: exciting does not capture how I feel every time I’m there. Obviously, I bought not enough books (only two, as my luggage was limited unfortunately), but there will be a next time soon.
December will be very productive as well. There will be a lot of reviews coming and articles. I am in the middle of 3 beta projects and I have a significant TBR:
- Bad Cop, Worse Cop by Scott Boyd
- Seven Hills One Light by Hazel Dains
- Finding Fate by J. N. Stein
- Sleeping Daddy by Nick Westerfer
- Ascender’s Prophecy by Paul J. Cavilla
- Bonded Nightmare by E.M. Rinaldi
- The Dragon Prophecies by M. T. Meiklejohn
- Magic Unleashed by Delta James
- Driving Force by Haley Cook
- Driving Wild by Haley Cook
- Driving with Heart by Haley Cook
- When Darkenss Hunts the Dawn by M.H. Woodscourt
- Beneath the Shatter by T.A. Reilly
- Within the Embers by T.A. Reilly
- A few others 🙂
I may not be able to achieve my reading goal for this year, but I hope to catch up as much as possible this month.
Winter has started in my corner of the world. Tis the season to be jolly! I may not always be jolly, but I will always have you and my books to keep me company 🙂 Let me know in the comments below what are your reading plans for the end of the year and if you have read any of the books in my TBR. Until next time, I wish you an amazing start of December!
Happy Reading!
