Happy New Week everyone!
I hope you’re having a great Monday. Remember that the week has just started, there is plenty of time to make it even greater!
Last week I finished reading Finding Fate by J.N. Stein – a very intense paranormal romance, with werewolves and vampires and finding one’s mate. I speak more of it in my review. But there is this one quote that I cannot seem to let go:
Pearl taught me that there is still good in the world. She showed me that we have to be our own light at times.
The thing is that we should learn to find ourselves our own light. We need to push ourselves in the right direction. I know it’s easier said than done but, out of my own experience I’m saying that nobody know that dark place more than you do. Nobody knows the way to that corner, you have to get yourself out. You can’t see the way, but you’ve got the match and the lighter – light your way. There is no wrong or right direction – light it up and see where it leads you.
We always expect someone to come help. The power always lies within (yeah, yeah, call me cheesy, but it’s the truth). There is no question about the importance of our support system, but we need to be able to see it and take advantage of it. That’s where that light which only we own comes into play.
I guess this is your sign to push yourself a bit. It’s just a bit, nothing much, for now.
