Happy Friday my bookish friends!

We are starting a new weekend, with a positive attitude and lots of plans. Considering that the end of last week was not in accordance with my plans and that the last 5 days have been emotionally charged, I’ll be a busy bee in the next 48ish hours.

Note: I started counting these journal pages since last weekend. Because… why not ? 🙂

I have two beta reads that must be finished this weekend. Every time I mention beta reads I keep telling you how lucky I am to read these stories. One of the books for this weekend is outside of my comfort zone, but it such a great read! I have two reports that need to go out as well, so: two books to read and 2+2 reports to complete. Easy peasy (Panic level: 3)!

Have you noticed that we are close to the end of June? I did plenty of catching up this week, I’ve read 2 books and a recent shot story on KU, but I still did not write the reviews. I have at least 5. So we do that as well! I would love to tackle my TBR some more and finish at least two more books. At least I’ll end the month with 10 titles read, not counting my beta reads. (Panic level: 4)

There is a high level of research that I must do as well. I was approved for a PA position for Prose Perfect Literary Services. I will soon start doing some tasks for the author that owns the publishing house and this means research: tools, planning, stalking the author and learning some new things, as well as improving others. I am beyond happy to have been given this opportunity and I want to give my all to Prose Perfect. It’s all for the love of books and the respect for the authors. (Panic level: 5)

We all need a mantra, don’t we?

In case you were wondering, I do some bookish related tasks during the week as well 😀 I don’t leave absolutely everything for the weekend. But Friday evening is when I take a moment to plan my weekend only with activities that will bring me joy and satisfaction – such as being active in the literary community.

Anyway, what are your weekend plans? Has the heat struck you? Stay hydrated and stick your nose in a book – I hear it’s pleasant 😉

Until next time, happy reading!
