Happy Sunday and Happy Fall! The cozy season is in full bloom and there are no better months for reading than the Fall months, at least for me!
October will be a challenging month, but with books I am so excited to read. I’ll tell you more about those in my post tomorrow, because today I’m excited to announce my TBR for the #Thiswitchreads2025 Readathon! The challenge is to complete a prompts sheet and the coven with the most points wins 😊 There are 4 covens, each with their own challenges. I’ve opted for the Celestial Coven and here are the books I plan on reading for each challenge:

- The Witch Hunt: read a book with a group who is or has been persecuted
- My choice: Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands #1) by Alwyn Hamilton
- The Witch Trials: read a book with a trial or competition
- My choice: Dire Bound (The Wolves of Ruin #1) by Sable Sorensen
- The Familiar: read a book with an animal companion
- My choice: The Baby Dragon Café (The Baby Dragon #1) by A.T. Qureshi
- The Supreme Witch: read a book featuring Deities or Gods or Goddesses
- My choice: The Knight and the Moth (The Stonewater Kingdom #1) by Rachel Gillig
- Celestial Empire: read a book related to or based in China
- My choice: The Poppy War (The Poppy War #1) by R.F. Kuang
- Fallen Angel: read a book featuring a character who has/had a fall from grace
- My choice: Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo
- Stargazer: read a hight fantasy book
- My choice: Dragonfall (The Dragon Scales Duology #1) by L.R. Lam
- Circadian Rhythm: read a book in which an element of plot is affected by the cycle of day/night
- My choice: The City of Brass (The Daevabad Trilogy #1) by S.A. Chakraborty
- Christen It: read a book featuring a character with a celestial name
- My choice: Stars Above the Never Sea by Evelyn Flood
- Cover It: read a book with celestial bodies on the cover
- My choice: Waiting For Ever (For Ever #1) by C. M. Wyllie
- Bless It: read a book with the chosen one trope
- My choice: Legendborn (The Legendborn Cycle #1) by Tracy Deonn
- Flip Reverse It: read a book set in a hellscape or barren land
- My choice: The Shadow of the Gods (The Bloodsworn Saga #1) by John Gwynne

Most of these books have over 400 pages, but I am very excited to go through all of them. Some have been on my TBR for years so this challenge is my opportunity to tackle them. Unfortunately, I was able to fit just one of the October ARCs in the prompts. This means October will be a very intense and interesting month.
As I was asking my fellow witches from the Celestial coven, if someone knows a potion that would keep me rested without sleep, send me the recipe. I have become immune to the one I use (Coke zero).
I’ll see you tomorrow, for my September wrap up and October TBR (ARCs)!
Until then, happy reading!
I’ve read 6 of the books you choose on your list and all I’m going to say is: prepare to go on an adventure! lol

OMG!!! That’s an encouragement 🙂 I’m using the readathon as an excuse to read the oldies but goldies 🙂 I can’t wait to discuss my thoughts with you as soon as I get through them
