Even so, I can’t stop staring at him.

Not an easy task when I’m pretty certain Dylan is the devil.

The devil with the kind of gorgeousness that should come with a
warning.

I learned the hard way one late night, when we turned into something more.

A mistake?

Yes, it should be.

Then we became a hot, sinful, secret that could cost us everything.

 

Such a great book! I loved it so much and I read it in one sitting. I was so captivated, I didn’t know when time flew by. Dylan and Taylor have so much in common when it comes to their careers, but little when it comes to life outside the office. But when they meet, a fire ignites, at work and anywhere else.

“One Last Time?” is a book full of emotions, with funny moments, with hot moments and reactions that would surprise you. I liked how Dylan has an influence over Taylor’s personality and how he makes her feel free, in a way. The way they challenge each other and their results at work is well described and this complements the intensity of their encounters outside business hours.

The reason I did not give full 5 stars is because Dylan has a bad boy reputation, a cold stare and all that jazz, but I am not convinced. I wanted more proof of that. Also, the ending was too easy. I know, it makes no sense complicating such a great relationship, but still…

Having this in mind, I remain with my 4 stars. I will add that the title is absolutely fitting! Great story, I enjoyed my time with it and immediately moved to book 2.

This is by far the craziest idea she’s ever come up with.

It all feels bad to me until she propositions me herself and opens my
eyes to something I might not be able to resist.

Her with her beautiful, sassy smile and that live for the moment daring
personality.

I’d never been able to say no to her before.

Now would be a good time to start.

Except this idea of hers has unlocked my curiosity.

And temptation wants me to explore…her.

Two best friends who looked anywhere else but right in front of them and a story with many complications and self-doubt. I devoured this one in the same way as book 1 from this series.

Abby and Gilly have known each other since they were kids and have been through a lot together. They know each other inside and out and nothing one of them does can surprise the other? Or? Well, Abby for sure surprises him when she drops the “I want to get pregnant and need you to help me” bomb. So… what’s the right answer here?

I loved everything abut the main characters. I loved the friendship, I loved the devotion the have for one another and I loved how naïve they both were. Many ups and downs and many hesitations complement the story very well. There are some small items that were not very believable, in the context of a great friendship, like the way they had no idea about their true feelings and later in the story Abby didn’t believe Gilly in a certain aspect, which I will not mention.

But I still loved it, I still don’t want the series to end and I cannot wait to read more and read more from the author. This is my third book by her and I still haven’t had enough 😊 And this series still has a lot more to offer! Happy reading!
