There are few authors that can take my breath away with their stories and writing. I like many, but few are there, at the top of my list. Eden Summers is one of these amazing people that can touch my soul with her stories.
“Reckless Encore” brings the Reckless Beat family at a mature age, with teenage kids of their own. One would think they are adults, with an image to keep for their children, but they are as crazy as ever and more in love with one another. While this is a novella, it touches so many sensitive topics – real life topics, but also memories from “the ol’ days”.
I was expecting a mix of emotions, but I never expected to see it at different levels. On one hand, we see the parents dealing with teenage problems, struggling to keep up with their kids’ moods and actions. On the other hand, we see how the parents’ fame and crazy adventures affect their sons and daughters. The way the author managed to put these two generations into perspective, it’s fantastic. There is drama, heartbreak and a desire for more!
So if you have read the Reckless Beat series, you would not want to miss this one! If you have not read any of the books in the series or worse, any book by Eden Summers, you have been missing out on so many amazing stories. So get your…books NOW!

Cover Review: it hurts to say that I do not see a link to the story itself when looking at the cover. Indeed we see the passion and the … closeness, but nothing that would show the two generations. Still, it has that „rock vibe”.
Favorite Quote: „It took thirteen years to realize criminals were the least of his worries. What he needed to look out for were horny teenage boys.”
