Oh, another lovely book, from a great series I have started…with the third book. “My Girl” has such a simple title, but the story is so complex and complicated. The entire writing is complex as well, with multiple POVs that give the reader a better perspective over all the events.

Ok, Trish and Aaron have a complicated past, but their present is at least the same. The future is to be defined, because there are unresolved items and as well secrets that can leave them both speechless. I loved the book so much! The main characters are well developed and with the corresponding maturity. Indeed, there are some others that were quite annoying, but they fit a purpose. I was breathless for 140 pages, as I savored every page.

I am sorry, as per usual, this is my luck to start with the end instead of the beginning, in case of “Gambling Hearts” series. While I did not have any issue to follow the topic, I would have liked to read first the other two books. Still, I enjoyed the story very very much, I enjoyed the writing, the plot, how the story was completed and basically all the words on the page.

All in all, I am giving 5 stars to an amazing book, while I gain another author to follow and whose books I need to read. Yeeey, more reading!
