It is Monday again!

I hope your weekend was great! Mine was (finally) fantastic! The only special thing I did was to take a day off from work (meaning: I worked for two hours then stopped). I managed to complete 70% of what I was planning, but I relaxed. I did what made me happy and I spent time with my family.ย  Iโ€™m starting the week with confidence and I hope youโ€™re doing the same! Itโ€™s only Monday ๐Ÿ™‚

One of the books I am currently reading is The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood and the scene below is what captivated me:

โ€œDid youโ€ฆ Did you just kiss me?โ€ He sounded puzzled, and maybe a little out of breath. His lips were full and plump andโ€ฆ God. Kissed. There was simply no way Olive could get away with denying what she had just done.

Still, it was worth a try.

โ€œNope.โ€

Surprisingly, it seemed to work.

โ€œAh. Okay, then.โ€ Carlsen nodded and turned around, looking vaguely disoriented. He took a couple of steps down the hallway, reached the water fountain – maybe where heโ€™d headed in the first place.

Olive was starting to believe that she might actually be off the hook when he halted and turned back with a skeptical expression.

โ€œAre you sure?โ€

The main character is so out of her comfort zone kissing this random guy just to prove a point to her best friend, so she denies the act ๐Ÿ˜€ itโ€™s soooo funny! I mean, at least for me it was funny reading it. I still have a good way to go (like 80%), but so far I like it. Iโ€™ll starting to feel whatโ€™s coming and it will sadden me a little, but all in all, I canโ€™t wait to share my thoughts.

Thatโ€™s all for this weekโ€™s quote. Until next time, Happy Reading!
