December 29th 2024

We are ending the last week of 2024. How did you do these last 7 days ? On my end, I had a blast!

Being away from work, spending time with family, exchanging gifts and even spending sleepless nights reading – these are just a few of the activities I can name. I could start complaining that I wanted to do more or do things differently, but we should embrace all the special moments we do get to have.

I’ve read a lot! I’ve finished 4 books this week and the weekend is not over. I’m extending my  weekend reading list to the end of the year. I was mentioning 6 books for my weekend TBR  and I’ve only finished 1 so far. I am still quite confident that I’ll achieve my target though.

I’ve started crochetting a doily. I love crochetting doilies. I have this idea of making a blouse out of them, I’ll keep you updated on how this goes. I’ve also started a pencil skirt for my mom. It should be 70% done by Tuesday. I’m taking this really really slow, since my confidence in my skills is below acceptable levels.

Life outside reading and sewing has been entertaining as well. As I was saying in the begining, I got to spend more than 1.5 days with my family and it was great! Being home, in my hometown fills me up with everything nice 🙂 I got all emotional seeing The Devil Wears Prada again and the latest season of Emily in Paris. I’m rewatching House as well (probably next week will be full of House episodes). Oh, I also got to see a colleague from middle school – this was the cherry on top!

How was your week? Let me know in the comments 3 things that made you happy and what is the book you’re currently reading, I would love to know.

Until next time, read and love a lot!
