I have never been so far away from my TBR, except maybe in the months I’ve done no reading…

Hello my bookish friends and Happy July!

I hope you’re staying cool, because in my corner it is hot! It was expected, it is July, and summer… But considering my water drinking habit, I’m not following the “stay hydrated” advice very well. It makes me wonder if we should read something winter-y.

Anyway, I have not been so far from my reading list in a very long time! I did read a lot, but almost nothing from the list. June has been a busy month. Between beta reading and my new PA activities, I have been slightly off my course. I had a lot of research to do, tools to put in place and just reorganize things a bit.

Here are the titles I did manage to finish:

• How to Get Even by Pippa Roscoe
• The Payback Plan by Amy Andrews
• Love, Accidentally by Phoebe MacLeod
• The Roommate Experiment by Camilla Isley
• The Art of War by Sun Tzu
• Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewel
• Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover
• Questioning Fate by J. N. Stein
• The Riddlers of Death by Nicole Penworthy

I’m happy with this list. I’ve had two beta reads to complete and a lot to learn for the PA position. I work for an amazing author, mainly handling her social media and this has been so much fun until now.

July will be a busy and interesting month as well. I have 3 beta reads to complete and a lot of online events with the author I work for. My goal is to read as much as I can from my 2025 TBR, plus the new additions due in July:

  1. Strings Attached by Serra Elly
  2. Second Rodeo by Sofia Jade
  3. Kingdom of Betrayal and Unknown by Maeve Kensington
  4. Duke it Out by Bella James
  5. The Lost War by Raven Storm
  6. Racing for Redemption by Vanessa Silva
  7. Blooming Tide by Evita Wren
  8. The Funnel to You by Nikki Grant
  9. The Magical Legacy of the Ryūjin by Stephan Lethaus
  10. Sweets and Sycamores by Arianne Nicks
  11. The Mastermind by Zara Cox
  12. Road Trip With a Rogue by Kate Bateman
  13. Give Me a Reason by Jayci Lee
  14. Below Deck Billionaire by Amy Andrews
  15. Going Overboard by Portia MacIntosh
  16. Third Time Lucky by Aimee Brown
  17. Desired Hearts by Cissy Mecca
  18. Dating Dr Love by Rachel Dove
  19. The Paradise Hook-Up by Christy McKellen

Ok, I admit I’ve gone a bit overboard with all these titles and my intention to clean some from my backlist, but hear me out: IT IS POSSIBLE. I ‘m not yet sure how, but we will figure it out. I’ve seen someone on Threads doing a writing challenge. I plan on creating one for myself, so that I can be up to speed with all the articles I have to write ⇒ that’s on the planning stage for now. But enough chatting and more reading.

Let me know in the comments if you are reading some of the books on my list and what exciting plans you have for this month!

Until next time, Happy (cool) reading!
