My God this book was amazing! This book turned my thoughts around and it was such a fantastic read! Whenever I had to put it down, I kept thinking and thinking and making scenarios. The thriller aspect of it is perfectly done, the psychological aspect as well. The romance is beautifully intertwined with the idea of a psychological thriller. I loved it, I absolutely loved it!
Larkin has quickly become my favorite female character and I would like to think (aka “I like to kid myself that”) I have something from her strength. She has so much to struggle. Her business is now a success, but success comes with a price. The time and commitment she has put into her fashion company have kept her away emotionally from other things. While now her board of directors want her to find a man to strengthen her image, she only needs a soul to be by her side at the end of the day. Also, her family is not much of a support, so our main character has also this on her mind.
Then she has to face this stalker. She has to deal with this issue almost on her own and the danger quickly escalates. The mysterious man she encounters one evening may even be her stalker himself. There are so many angles to the story! You make a scenario, then something else pops up and ruins it. I don’t know, it blew my mind.
I left the obvious to the end: the title is fabulous! I mean… “Who” ! It’s so suggestive and expresses so much, using 3 letters only. The cover shows Larkin having the city behind her – she somehow tries to find her own tranquility between business, family directors who know close to nothing about her. Even the colors match the story.
Ok, enough said. 5 Stars for this great great story and I cannot wait to read more from the series and more from this author. Megan Mitcham is fantastic!
