Bookfest 2019 Book Haul

This year’s Bookfest edition was a very intense one for me, as a reader and book blogger. I went there with a list of 6 books to buy and ended up buying 9, 4 of which signed! I am so happy and proud to be part of the bookish community and I cannot wait for next year’s edition.

Ok, let me tell you what I was planning on buying first:

  1. One Brandon Sanderson book: I already own “Elantris”, so a second book would look great next to it J

  2. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas: because I need to read this series!

  3.  Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan: I heard so much about this book, I need to have it

  4. Descententa by Cristina Zegheru: I’ve been seeing this book a lot on social media. It’s a book by a Romanian author, with some great reviews out there

  5. Vicious by V. E. Schwab

  6. Kingdom of Copper by S. A. Chakraborty

… And here are the titles I ended up with, after 5 hours of walking around shelves:

  1. Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

  2. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

  3. Descendenta by Cristina Zegheru (Romanian author)

  4. Demonii Trecutului by Cristina Zegheru (Romanian author)

  1. Intoarcerea by Theo Anghel (Romanian author)

  2. Pacatele Fiului by Theo Anghel

  3. One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake

  4. The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

  5. How to Tame your Duke by Juliana Gray

Being this a Romanian event, all these books are in Romanian. It’s great to support our Romanian publishers and authors! Books 3, 4, 5 and 6 are signed by the author. Both are amazing ladies and I cannot wait to discover their stories.

I feel that this event helped me a lot with my slump. There is a readathon starting tomorrow (I’m working on the TBR at the moment) and I am quite confident this is a good sign.

Until next time, let me know if you have read any of these books and what are your thoughts about them. Happy reading 🙂
