This is a sweet story in which a one night stands ends up being much more. Both our main characters have a complicated past, both have trust issues and both are not looking for something serious. But when Bryce turns out to be Hadlee’s new boss, they both need to figure out if what they have is worth the risk.
Overall, It was and enjoyable story. Quick to read, funny at times and with heated moments, it will provide the nice relaxing time. But there were things I did not quite like, such as our characters’ backstories, especially Bryce’s. It was a little too much, in my opinion. The short length did not allow the story to fully develop, which makes the ending sole all the issues too sudden.
But I did enjoy it and I liked reading their love story. The passion, the respect for their career and the efforts they are ready to make to start over together are nice.
