Marianna Halsey has the most boring life in the world. With seven overprotective older brothers, she’s even ended up a virgin at twenty-four. But when a dark and sexy male prevents her from getting her wallet stolen on a Greek vacation, she decides it’s time for some adventure. She’s read a gazillion romance novels. How hard can it be to score a hook-up?
Greek billionaire and stock market whiz, Nico Galinas has built an empire from nothing. Literally. Orphaned as a baby, Nico trusts no one. Especially not the quirky, attractive woman using the worst pick up tricks in history. She wants something, and Nico decides to play along, even when she invites herself back to his place.
But what happens when “the beast” accidentally knocks up “beauty”?

Yes, an interesting book, with something different – this time our billionaire is a Greek guy, with his own issues to deal with. It was nice and warm, a good book that gave me a relaxing feeling. So yes, I liked it.
Nico and Marianna meet under fortunate circumstances – he is at the right place at the right time. Since she is on a vacation, what better way to pass the time than enjoy a good fling ,especially if the guy is so good looking. Little did they expect for things to get out of control. Their story has some twists, which I have enjoyed and there are many interesting aspects in the characters’ personalities.
Where Marianna is genuine and nice, Nico is hard and not much for fighting for her. He has his heart to guard and will never put it in the hands of a stranger. She, on the other hand, is as strong as she is nice and accepts her fate with head up, willing to deal with the consequences of her decisions.
While I liked the couple, I liked their relationship, I wanted to take more advantage of the scenery and the beautiful places. Also, there was something missing in Nico, as a character. There are moments where he was too much of a stubborn guy and just…too much.
Still, I have enjoyed it and was a great book for the chilly afternoons we have here. 3.5 stars for now. a

About Stefanie London
STEFANIE LONDON is the USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance with humour, heat and heart.
Growing up, Stefanie came from a family of women who loved to read. Her favourite activity was going shopping with her Nan during school holidays, where she would sit on the floor of the bookstore with her little sister and painstakingly select the books to spend her allowance on. Thankfully, Nan was a patient woman.
Thus, it was no surprise Stefanie was the sort of student who would read her English books before the semester started. After sneaking several literature subjects into her ‘very practical’ Business degree, she got a job in Communications. When writing emails and newsletters didn’t fulfil her creative urges, she turned to fiction and was finally able to write the stories that kept her mind busy at night.
Now she lives with her very own hero and dreams of travelling the world. She frequently indulges in her passions for good coffee, French perfume, high heels and zombie movies. Recently she gave up her day job to write sexy, contemporary romance stories and she couldn’t be happier.
