…Because “I’ve done a lot and so little at the same time” seems to be too long of a title.
Hello my lovely booklovers and visitors! I am back with updates on the many things I started doing in January and ended up not finishing in February and a potential challenge for myself for the month of March!
If you follow me on Twitter or Goodreads, you might have seen my note on Beta Reading. I have started doing this earlier in January and I was very very lucky to have met amazing authors that had the patience to deal with my hectic schedule and my beginner ways. I have done beta reading for 4 books already and I have other three in progress – late in case of some. This process is very time consuming for me, but so rewarding in the end. I love overanalyzing the story, the characters and just how everything fits together. But most of all, I love knowing that my comments are helping our lovely authors.
While I have spent most of my time doing that, I have managed to read quite a lot, I have 19 reviews posted for January and 9 for February and 4 other books read and not reviewed, just because I could not find the time to sit and write – will get to that in the following paragraphs. I am back scheduling my articles and all is ok. My daily job is under control, aka “I am now used to the pressure, no biggy”.
At the end of January, I started crocheting again. I didn’t even realize how much I missed it. So I have reminded myself all the plans from last year. I took one more step in the right direction and started an Instagram account where I am documenting my progress (feel free to follow me @hookedonthread – for mycrochet experience and of course @lillysbookstagram – for my bookish photos). Let’s see what will come out of it later on 🙂
On the bad side of things, I skipped a lot of readathons becasue I didn’t manage to prepare my TBRs on time and also I did have a though time at work. My reading habbits have been so off the charts and I also didn’t manage to stick to my posting schedule, but I intend to remedy that. I have decided to challenge myself this month to stick to the plan. I am currently working on my March List of Resolutions and I will share that one with you in tomorrow’s post.
But enough about me, tell me about you! How have January and February been for you guys? Any good books? Any bookboxes you have descovered? Let me know in the comments below and until next time, Happy Rreading!
