My Review

The second book in The Werewolf M.D. Series is a great surprise. I did like the first one, but “Werewolf Epidemic” is much more engaging and full of action. It kept me at the edge of my seat and I savored every word in each chapter.

This time, Isabella and Roman have to face stronger enemies – seen or unseen. The events challenge not only the supernatural abilities, but as well their knowledge as doctors. They fight against a virus and against others trying to hurt werewolves. Their love can withstand it all however. I loved their devotion in book 1 and I love it even more here.

As in case of the first book, I must mention that I do not like the cover – it doesn’t feel werewolf-y enough – and I have my small issues with the narration. Maybe it’s me not rezoning with the narrator’s voice. However, it was an intense experience and I must admit Hugh Bradley did a great job of transmitting the tension in every moment. I would have wanted a bit more voice acting, that’s all – changing the voice and all that.

All in all, I liked the series quite a lot and I did enjoy my time with the characters. There are fresh elements when it comes to werewolves, we have intense action and a lot of twists. I do recommend it – it’s short and very entertaining. 5 stars for the book, 3.5 for the narration = 4.25 stars = 4 stars. Happy reading!
