A love triangle is always an interesting topic, as long as the author makes it that way. Millenia Black did it well. I liked the story, it kept me entertained.
Michael finds himself having to choose between Priscilla and Amber, two women with different character, yet a common goal: to have his heart. I do have my own experience with love triangles and I was happy to see Michael’s actions and who he would have in the end. I have to warn you, the ending is very interesting and will make you wish for book 2.

Both female characters have a point and I see both as victims, probably of different lies. Priscilla wants a man she can count on. Her life has been shaken by her grandmother’s passing and in her vulnerable state, she sees Michael as a savior of sorts. Yet Amber has been waiting for a long while for him to take the next step. Little did she expect Michael to want something else. In the end, who will have Michael? The answer is not that simple and this is what makes the series interesting.

The narration was fantastic! I love how the narrator was right there invested and how she managed to keep my interest with her changes in tonality. Her voice acting was also good and she gave the story the proper pace. I usually listen to the audiobooks at the normal speed or maximum 1.2 speed so I felt really comfortable listening to Sharon Lacey.

All in all, I do advise you give the book a try and I hear the other books that Millenia Black wrote are equally as amazing! They all have impressive reviews so I will probably add them to my TBR soon. 4.5 stars for now and I cannot wait to read more from the series 😊 Happy reading!

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Millenia Black . The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.
